The Homewood Public Library loves to reach out to its community daycare centers!

Each month outreach travels to various daycares offering stories, songs, games and sometimes a movie. During our Fall/Winter sessions we read stories from many authors. We started with books from Mother Goose, Marc Brown, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Laura Numeroff. This month we are honoring books that received the Coretta Scott King Award and other famous African American Authors. The daycares that participated were; Alpha Campus, Homewood/Flossmoor Park District’s-The Learning Tree, Stepping Stones, Homewood Children Center, Star Bright, God’s Little Academy, Learn As You Grow, Lots of Love and Bright Start. We thank all the daycares who allow us to serve them throughout the year. Visit us on Facebook and become a friend.
